During the Holy month of Ramadan, it is important to keep your energy high and your body healthy during suhoor and iftar. Vitamins can be a great way to maintain your health during this month and we have some great recommendations as to what vitamins we believe would be most beneficial for your health
The vitamins we recommend are below.
1. You Should Take Vitamin C During Ramadan
Vitamin C is known for its ability to repair damaged body tissue. Vitamin C is also an antioxidant that guards against free radicals (i.e. toxins). When fasting, this can be difficult to get the full recommend daily amount.
To assist with meeting your daily requirement, we recommend taking vitamin C tablets. They are convenient and help you meet your daily intake. Vitamin C can also be found in foods such as:
- Citrus fruits
- Strawberries
- Bell peppers
- Broccoli
2. You Should Take Vitamin D During Ramadan
Vitamin D is also a great supplement to incorporate into your diet during Ramadan. Vitamin D is known for its essentiality for bone and tooth health. The body absorbs vitamin D through sunlight, however, because of your fast it might be tiresome to be out in the sun (and unable to drink water).
Try out our vitamin D supplements! We have both gummy and tablet forms, which both adults and kids can enjoy.
3. You Should Take Multivitamins During Ramadan
Last, but not least, multivitamins are great to take during your fasting breaks! Multivitamins have a bit of everything and help you intake a good amount of nutrients you may miss.
